Quad Stretch, Laying Down

Secondary Muscles: Hip Flexors
Body Area: Legs

Quad Stretch, Laying Down

Proper Steps

  • Read "Getting Started" before beginning any exercise
  • Lay down on the floor on side of body
  • Support your body with arm that is against floor
  • With your other arm, reach down and grab ankle of foot that is not against the floor
  • Slowly pull ankle up toward buttocks to the point of mild discomfort
  • Exhale and hold stretch for 10-30 sec.
  • This stretch should be felt in the Quads
  • Be Sure to stretch both legs!
