Proper Steps

  • Read "Getting Started" before beginning any exercise
  • Using a medicine ball, stand with feet shoulder width apart; holding the medicing ball near chest level.
  • Bend knees, moving into a squat position.
  • Explode upward, jumping from the ground and raising the medicine ball above the head.
  • With arms extended above the head, "slam" the ball to the ground during the down phase of the jump.
  • Concentrate on contracting Latissimus Dorsi and Deltoids during the "slam" phase.
  • Catch the ball after the bounce and continue this sequence of movements for the duration of the set.
